I asked Brent who influenced him most in life. He told me it was his father. His father had lost his job when Brent was twelve years old. This made him look up to his father. He realized that he did not want to go through the struggle that his father did, while being unemployed. He saw how his dad rose up from this time instead of giving up.
This is also what made him go to college. He saw his dad struggle trying to find another job after losing his other one. Brent knew that he did not want to go through the struggle his father did.
After college Brent wants to work at the zoo. He told me he wouldn't have a problem getting a job there because of his uncle. He wants to work there as a biologist. Also during this time he would like to become a CCO leader, and help college students do the same thing he did.

Reading this profile, I seemed to learn a lot about Brent. I noticed you used first person a few times, to avoid this try making your profile a story, not a conversation. You did a very good job telling me about Brent's life, but that left me wanting to know more. I would enjoy more detail. Overall very good and great caption to the picture!
ReplyDeleteI like that instead of looking at his father in a more negative way when he lost his job he actually began to look up to him and appreciate things more than not
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of Coalition of Christian Outreach so I found that very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI really like how he wants to become a leader of Coalition of Christian Outreach. I also like how he has a great career path lined up for him.
ReplyDeleteI find the fact that Brent has his values and career choice planned out to be very inspiring. It is a great thing that he already is taking a large role in his belief by trying to get other students to join him! I agree with Jo on the writing of the interview, some first person is used throughout the post.
