Eccentricity is a strange or unconventional behavior. It means to be off center. Eccentricity makes a person unique. I think that is why it could be encouraged. It can make people feel good about themselves. They do not have to hide the fact of some of the things they like to do. It can also make a person stand up for what they believe in. Eccentricity can also be problematic for some peoples strange behaviors can go a little to far. Like if someone was apart of a cult and acted on those beliefs. They can be eccentric and practice what they want but it might cause some conflicts.
I would say that I am eccentric in the fact that I take my gaming and anime fandom a little bit further. I plan on creating a cosplay as some of my favorite characters and going to an anime convention. I have already been to one but it was a first time, and it was last minute so did not have enough time to get a costume together. I also have a group of friends that share this same fandom of mine. In a way it makes me who I am. I am a proud geek and not afraid to show it. I don't take it to the extreme, but on that convention day I am in a whole other world.
My research questions was. Did Ohio have burlesque theaters? I was able to find out that Cleveland was a hot spot for burlesque theater back in the day. There was the Cleveland Roxy. At one point in time Cleveland was the place to be in Ohio history. It would bring people in from all over. The Roxy holds a big part in this history. People came to see the shows. I thought this was a cool fact with burlesque history. Carrie Finnel was credited for inventing the tassel twirling in Cleveland. She played 54 straight weeks at the Roxy. It was the place to go on Friday and Saturday nights.

This is interesting to know. I have no idea that Ohio would have something like this. I wonder if that building is still around in the Cleveland area? Is it a museum since it's part of history? Or is it abandoned?
